The inventory and economic audit of Eastern Poland Region are in 'LCOI'

Work on the inventory of Eastern Poland Region is now in progress. It includes all the municipalities of this region.

A database about the most important objects in some categories is formed:

-business and economy (entities, raw materials, the infrastructure of business surrounding)
-departments and institutions
-municipal and public buildings
-tourism

All the inventoried buildings will be put on the virtual map( The Economic Atlas of Eastern Poland) which will be installed on LCOI Vortal. Every vortal's user (including a potential investor or importer) will be able to estimate the location of a proposed real estate/plot/raw material. Moreover, he/she will be able to check whether a proposed plot, which would be used for building a Factory Production of Building Materials, is situated nearby: sandpits, coal mines, lime plants, gypsum plants.Whether the offer so as to build a fruit and vegetables-processing plant, whose production will be used for export, is located in the area where suitable growing is possible, how far is to the departments which can agree on groceries' export, or how far the nearest  Customs Bureau is. It will also be easier to estimate what the transport route is. The vortal's user can easily choose the category and trade's surrounding so as to get to find it on the LCOI map. This interesting information can make the time of offers' analysys shorter and make taking a positive and expected by the tenderer decision easier. This is the first instrument of offers' presentations in Poland in such a scale, which will be so compatible with the surrounding's visualization (possibility of placing photos, films, video camera pictures).
Inventory is a long and complex issue. There are 719 municipalities and 101 counties in Eastern Poland Region. About 9 million people live there. The quality and resources of 'vortal's surrounding' will be depended among others on: cooperation with the local government (municipalities, counties, the office of marshal), other departments and organizations which are responsible for development, growth in the economy in their areas. Most of them are obliged to promote economy, quality, assets and forming new work places. LCOI successively signs other contracts and declarations of cooperation (with municipalities, counties, local activity groups).
So far, 32 municipalities have been inventoried- 11 in Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship, 11 in Lubelskie and 11 in Warmia and Mazury. At present, we do not have any information about the number of inventoried municipalities from Podkarpacie and Podlasie Voivodeships. Such information should be known soon from Sokołów Małopolski (LCOI Region PDK) and Ciemnoszyje (LCOI PDL). The inventory will be organized as it arises until 100% of PW municipalities. If local governments are involved more in cooperation with LCOI Regions, works on inventorying will have been finished until  the half of 2012.
