Kielce, Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship, 2011.06.30 An important message for Polish importers!
Since Poland acceded to the European Union and accepted the rules of
common EU trade policy, trade conditions of Polish entrepreneurs from
outside Community are determined under the terms of the contracts,
signed by the European Union. Some
negotiations between the EU and Korea Republic concerning the contract
of free trade introduction (EU-Korea FTA), were finished in 2009. The
document was signed in October, 2010. The contract was ratified in
February 2011 by the European Parlament and in May 2011 by the Parlament
of Korea Republic. The contract, which will make trade exchange between
sides liberal, has to enter into force on 1 July, 2011.
EU-
Korea FTA among others predicts: gradual, mutual abolishing of nearly
all tariff barriers, many barriers which do not concern the tariff and
also mutual increasing the access to the market within investments and
services. Polish enterprises can also make use of liberal trade exchange
conditions, which will be provided by the contract with Korea Republic. More
information about EU-Korea FTA, including the answer to the question:
What conditions Polish enterprises should meet in order to make use of
preferential tariff rates in export to Korean market- can be found on
the internet web of the Department of RP Embassy Trade and Investments
Promotion in Seoul:
http://seoul.trade.gov.pl/pl/KOR-EUFTA.
We invite all entrepreneurs to become interested in
attractive Korean market.
